My Kinder Moments

Honeybears has introduced ePortfolio and Parent Communication App with My Kinder Moments. My Kinder Moments offers secured platform for educators to record & share child’s learning experience with families. ‘Parents’ can follow key moments of a child’s progress, as recorded and managed by ‘Educators’.  To access see below.

Program

Our educators at Honeybears develop the children’s individual skills by compiling learning stories and reflecting on the outcomes through the daily program. These learning stories are linked to the Early Years Learning Framework.

Through our program, activities are identified that depict the child’s interests, skills and goals. Our program supports a continuity of learning, which includes follow up experiences, affording the opportunity for each child to progress towards realising learning outcomes.

A documented representation (portfolio) is compiled annually on all children. This assessment of learning is written in conjunction with the Early Years Leaning Framework and is discussed with each family during mid-year interviews. Portfolios contain learning stories, artwork and photographs taken of each child throughout the year and are a lovely keepsake to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework sets the standard for which children’s goals are measured. Each observation and consequent extension will detail which goals the child is achieving.

A snapshot of our day can be viewed in each room via the daily slideshow, which includes photos and documentation of the children and the experiences they have engaged in.
